Actually the Coupe would benefit greatly from turning the ailerons into
flaperons. With limiting them to just a small downward deflection (what
most people would think of as 1 notch of flaps) they would increase lift,
nice for takeoff on a short or rough strip, wouldn't really be much of a
benefit on landing. In a reflexed position would reduce drag. Reduced drag
is always good. Seems like a win win situation.
