Come to NM. No sales tax on airplanes here, unless you purchase the plane in NM. State license is a penny a pound per year on planes older than 1990. What you Ca. people should do is buy one of our numerous 1/2 ac. lots for taxes at about $100 per and register your plane to that address. Save a ton of money.
