If it was repitched, it should have something stamped on the hub to
indicate 
so.  Generally, the new pitch will be there, e.g. 52, and also "P+" to
show 
it was pitched up.  There is a limit to the number and direction of 
repitchings, and so there needs to be a record of same.  Look under the 
spinner and maybe you'll see something.  As you stated, sounds like it's
more 
than a 48.

Could you describe the modifications to the lord mounts that move the
engine 
back?  (Don't forget, if it moves at all, there's an effect on the CG,
too!)
