I vividly remember the first time I flew with a constant pitch prop. I had not yet gotten an STC to use my hand controls in the C150 so my instructor and I decided to transition to the C172. She stressed and stressed and stressed what TO do and NOT to do with regards to the pitch control. Yet sure enough, while on final I did it wrong. If Clare had not been with me, and not been as good as she is, I surely would have "bought it". I've never seen a hand move so fast in my life. Now granted, it was my first time, and I was low time anyway, but Tony's right. It only takes one. Please folks...Let's be careful out there.
