Kay; I first met your uncle Jack in Brunswick, GA a few months ago. I met him there to do a pre buy inspection for him on an Ercoupe. He decided not to buy that Ercoupe after we saw what condition it was in. However, we did go to lunch together. He was a very interesting, gregarious individual. I had the opportunity to answer a couple of questions for him, by e-mail, about the Ercoupe he had purchased. We met briefly at the Coupe convention in Terrell, TX. He indicated that he wanted to talk about his new Coupe, and would look me up later, but either he forgot, or we missed each other. He seemed very excited about his new Ercoupe, and was having a lot of fun flying it. I was shocked, when I got home yesterday from a different trip, to learn of his accident. You have my deepest sympathy. Please pass this along to his wife.
