Tim: Ercoupe Service Bulletin No. 24A, dated Aug. 22, 1986 required that the AN911-2D (aluminum) nipple on the gascolator be replaced with an AN911-2 (brass or steel). It also required that the single gascolator support, on Ercoupes prior to serial number 4501, be replaced with a double support. This was all supposed to happen within the next 25 hours of flight time, next annual inspection, or at the time when the gascolator was removed, whichever occurred first. Hope this helps.
