Actually you can switch brokers but you need to do it formally.  A new 
broker will have a one page "change of broker of record" letter that you 
sign and return to him/her and then he/she will be able to get quotes 
for you on your aircraft even if you had a previous broker.  If you have 
a new broker in mind speak to them and they will set you up.
