The EAA and AOPA art trying, but GA doesn't even seem to register on the DOT's radar screen. They'd be just as happy if we didn't fly for a month ( see www.aopa.org ) for the latest. If you feel as I do that there is little security justification in continuing to ground every GA aircraft in the US, now would be a real good time to phone or fax your US Senator and remind him that you consider the right to move about freely in the air to be a fundamental issue. When they used trucks to bomb the WTC and OK City, the DOT didn't declare that all automotive traffic would be banned from US highways indefinitely. This no longer makes sense, but there are going to have to be some cages rattled to remind the Feds that we're still here and we still vote.
