Just remember a twin just gives you twice the chance of and engine failure
and gets you to the scene of the accident twice as fast.

We had a crash and two fatalities here in the N Tx area on Thursday, a
very qualified instructor and a flight school owner perished. CVU and
initial reports are a flat spin was involved which the Beech Baron is
apparently known for. I only pass this along to keep us all aware of the
possibilities. I did not know this about the Baron but in the future if I
was with someone who offered to show me some engine out procedures just
for the experience, not during actual training, I think I might pass.
Events like this really bring into focus the dangers of the fast multi
even to high time pilots. ED
