Hello Coupers,Iwent to a pilots meeting at my Airport and found many long faces as we are trapped in class enhanced Bravo airspace as some of you will remember.We had flight services at our meeting discussing this totally &^%$ ed -up situatiuon.We asked them if there was any good news regarding opening up our airport .They said they don't know anything more than we do and they find it out as the sources tell them .So we did find out that there are serviellance aircraft watching everything in the air and military jets scramble in a moments notice.We heard the sonic boom here the other day when that putz tried to get into the cabin of that United jet at Ohare.I'm thinking that this could go on for a dragged out duration.Still grounded in ILL.I gotta tell you I don't even like going to the airport .The atmosphere there sucks and moral is poor.Can you tell??All the surrounding airports 25 plus miles out are fine fly when you want just stay out of Enhanced Class B.WE really are captive even the instructor thing to get the plane out is really screwed due to all the waits for all the IFR flight Plan closings you could be on the ground waiting hours to get out or in and wher I'm at I can see Ohare when I depart 11 it's right there!!!So how much is Aluminum going for these days.Maybe I could be a kiddy ride if I take the wings off? I'm gunna get back into R/C planes.
