Sure. The financial bail-out of the airlines (but NOT their already-laid-off WORKERS) has everything to do with 'good gumment.' And nothing to do with who makes big, fat, PAC donations. Within 24 hours of 9/11, the bailout was in the works, almost before security was thought of. So far, not a peep from the Feds about helping out the people who got fired within the first few days, or of telling the airlines 'you can't have this money if you're going to use this as an excuse to bust your union contracts.' Lee's assurances notwithstanding, if you do think that your airport, and Potomac, and a whole bunch other currently 'underutilized' pieces of valuable suburban real-estate aren't being looked at by people who would profit from their country's misfortune... ....think again.
