Thanks for all the responses, I thought the wing valve would take care of
it, but wanted to make sure. I did not have a fire as we saw a very small
amount of drops of fluid on the windscreen during runup on a CVU day.
Investigation showed what looked like a water hose running full coming out
of the pump with only a small amount getting back onto the windscreen. If
the sun had not been low we may not have even noticed it. I have since
found my wing shut off valve very hard to move but I can locate it with my
eyes shut to make sure. Investigation showed that one of the screws that
held the pump together had sheared allowing a severe leak,  Thanks, ED
