----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Thanks for all the responses, I thought the wing valve would take care of it, but wanted to make sure. I did not have a fire as we saw a very small amount of drops of fluid on the windscreen during runup on a CVU day. Investigation showed what looked like a water hose running full coming out of the pump with only a small amount getting back onto the windscreen. If the sun had not been low we may not have even noticed it. I have since found my wing shut off valve very hard to move but I can locate it with my eyes shut to make sure. Investigation showed that one of the screws that held the pump together had sheared allowing a severe leak, Thanks, ED ==^================================================================
