Pete John Wright, Jr. , in Springfield, IL can fix most of the tanks.
He
told me that he generally charges about $300 unless he has to make a new
skin
for the tank, and then it runs $500. He completely disassembles the tank,
cleans it, makes necessary repairs, and then puts it back together (this
is
for the ones riveted together). I think he bought about all of the useable

and unusable tanks he could find in order to have parts. I don't have his
address or phone number, but Rita Wright is the EOC supply officer, and
her
address and phone number is listed on every Coupe Capers. Dennis is right,

fuel tank removal is not an easy proposition, but a necessary evil in
order
to properly effect the repairs.
