Hi All. You may know that Candy and I have an Ercoupe. It did not fly this year because neither of us has a license! Anyway we hope to have 2 licenses before long. I also believe in Santa Claus. We upgraded a dangerous airplane (lots of problems) into one that is safe to fly and will have an annual. $ome co$t wa$ involved of cour$e. Little of that cost could be counted as "annual". We also have a Longeze. That airplane never flew (it is tied up in divorce proceedings) but the annual cost was $576 for tiedown fees and $900+ for liability insurance. I don't carry other insurance. I don't have to pay for an annual inspection but I also value my life so I will get a real mechanic for the inspection when the airplane is flying. Maybe that will cost $300? Tiedown, insurance and annual totals about $1800 I will burn about 4 to 5 gallons an hour plus some cost for oil changes. Instruments will fail and be replaced, the fuel pump has a ONE year warranty and seems to last just a little longer than that. Spark plugs are auto plugs so are cheap. I cannot guess how many hours we will fly when we do. So my guess for the Longeze is $1800/year plus $12/hour plus any upgrades on avionics, etc. ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiLm.aVzvvT Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
