I just mounted up 4 new Millenium cylinders. The poop sheet with them
says
the same thing - almost. It says run the engine on the ground for 5 min.
and then take off varying the engine power (rpm) each 5 minutes. This
appears to allow the different rpm/slap rates to wear in the new parts in
different places before everything glazes up.

Subject: [COUPERS] How to break in new cylinders?

Everything that I ever read says to avoid ground running one for more than
a
few minutes when breaking new or rebuilt cylinders in. Is this true?
