Hi, Paul and other NW coupe friends. Every description I have ever seen of the northwest or the Pacific Northwest does not include any part of northern California. It seems to me that it should. We are not all that far from Oregon, in CA distances. This are has much more in common ecologically (and in other ways I won't get into) with Oregon and Washington than it does with southern CA. I have always wondered why we're
not included in "NW". At any rate, I consider myself a NW couper even though I don't have a PPL, a coupe, or even the wherewithall to drive up and join you. I'm hoping and working towards changing that. BTW, Gary and I are members of the Oregon Ercoupe Erforce even though we live in CA. We even have club t-shirts. A pleasant Sunday evening to you all.
