Something bad into the lines?  Sounds bad to me.  What have you got in
there that's
bad?  I'd suggest you do your experimenting on the ground.  As I
understand it, it's
not a good idea to shut the fuel off completely while flying.  Something
about going
from a power on to a full power off situation being stressful on the
engine.
