Another company can't say: "Gee, I can extrude Ercoupe spars and sell `em for half of what Univair wants." They can, but the plane is not legal. Part of certification is not just that the design is safe, but that you can produce each and every one the same way as the certificate. And we been moanin' `bout Bill Gates...
