I'll have to agree with David about there is nothing special about Annual inspection of the Ercoupe. An engine is an engine. The airframe is an airframe. The problem is and AI who wants the paper work for a rain proof fuel cap. Or Maynard fuel sending unit when they are used on other aircraft. Here an AI needs some common sense. And so dose the FAA. This thing of being able to trace a part. Is Bull. The only questions should be 1 is it safe. and 2 is it safe.
