As to Goodyears, I will NOT be changing anytime soon.
They may not be as good as Clevelands, but the Clevelands I have
experienced
are not as good as my Goodyears... with modern brake material.
The old organic pucks suck, but one can legally use other materials.
My current puck material is made from Chevy 4X4 disc brake pads.
I can readily put flat spots on the tires on touchdown.
