Hi all, Now that 3040H has gone to the salvage yard, its too depressing to keep reading about all the trials, tribulations and fun you all are having with your coupes. I just wanted to say so long to you all, you have all been a great group and have provided more support and help over the past couple of years than a fella has a right to. Thanks to all of you who have made my coupe experience a rewarding one. I hope the group is still around when I get my next one. That may be a while as I'm going to be moving out of state and starting over in California within the next couple of months. Bye the way, I agree with Gene about Carbs, mags, and Clevelands. Two out of three didn't save my plane. If I had Clevelands 3040H would have stopped before the trees. Goodyears are fine for holding the plane during runup but the stopping power is really sucky.... even with rebuilt ones. Thanks again for everything. May all your landings be right side up, Fly safely, Rob Talbot-Jones, ex owner of 3040H, Rantoul Illinois________________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from this list please send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics
