I had the weird opportunity to land on an unusual runway. While setting up for the flair and waiting for the usual thump when I hit the runway I felt something was not kosher.I kept flying instead of thumping. It was not until I looked farther ahead that I noticed that I was lower than the other end of the runway. The runway that I was trying to land on was going down away from me. It ends up that this runway is concave, bent horizontally, lower in the middle than either end. No matter how I describe it was a strange feeling. Neither the AOPA book nor the AF/D gave warning of this weird piece of asphalt. Any ideas why?
