Hi,
I could not get the link to go through.  Here is basically the story - The fellow crashed this past Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at 8:20am in Hamilton, Montana.  He hit the runway hard and a fuel tank popped in his 1946 Ercoupe.  A fireball and plume went up and the plane burned.  The guy got himself out of the plane but he was in flames and the local folks put him out.  They had to scrape what was left of his plane off the runway in order to bring in an air ambulance to haul him to a Seattle burn center where he sadly died Wednesday.
