Dear List,

Thanks to all who send advice on finding my oil leak.

I started dismantling the cowling and baffles expecting the worst...
and then I noticed that the three bottom engine case bolts were
very loose. I tightened them to proper specs, cleaned the area well,
and did an extensive run-up and guess what...no more oil. Well, okay,
there was still a spec...but as the man said...if it don't leak a bit
its got no oil in it.

And I barely lost any skin on my knuckles.

Now I have one more question.

Does anyone have a simple to follow set of instructions for 
timing Slick Mags. I had my mechanic show me once, but that was
with the old Bendix mags and I could use a refresher.
