Going out last Sunday, I noticed a small swarm of hornets buzzing around my tail feathers. Didn't think much about it until I came back, and they reappeared. Upon careful examination, and pulling the elevator into a full up position, I noticed a nest up in the horizontal stabilizer. It's just inside the rear spar/stiffiner, just inside one of the holes. My buddy says wait a month, and they'll all die. Then I can remove it. I am a little hesitant to stick a stick up in there and stir things up, and I'm even more hesitant to spray wasp killer into the stabilizer. What to do?
