Hey Larry, I would have though you would be the first to suggest pouring
gas on them and burning them out. <g>  (Read the disclaimer).

Cold weather will reduce the ability to swarm, you can wait till then.  

If you want them out now, do it after dark.  They are not be as active
after dark.  A water based spray will do the job.  Just wait till they go
in and soak the nest.  A garden hose will also work, if you want immediate
gratification.  Use cold water, it hampers their ability.  You can suck
the
nest out with a wet/dry vac, if you can't pull it out with your hands.

It's not a big deal.  On a chilly night you can take them out with your
hand and smash them on the ground.  Gosh, sounds like fun.  Just use
common
sense.
