List, I havent posted any restoration progress in a while, seems like it's been going slow. I've been spending money though. I'm past the part where I can do everything for free- just add elbow grease. Now I'm buying carb kits, generator overhaul kits, magneto coils, upholstery..... My upholstery is done- I even got side panels for the big baggage pit. Just got my instrument panel back from the powder coat shop. I had the panel done in wrinkle finish black- I plugged a few instruments into it and that wrinkle finish really looks cool! I've been battling over paint schemes, and every time I look at my old coupe's pictures I cant hide how much I love a polished fuselage.. so I know somebody that details airliners and has all the polish and equipment. Basically, for the price of one gallon of a good epoxy primer he is going to polish my fuselage out for me. So, it will have a polished fuselage and bright yellow wings and tail. I should have the new instrument panel installed within the week, and then I will be ready to re-wire. Cant wait to see it done!
