Coupers; After being away from a flying Erco for a few years, I've been toying with the idea of getting another coupe and have even looked at a few. After doing a restoration on a Bonanza, I can truly appreciate the simplicity of these marvelous little twin tails. My question is that I'm wondering what the real street market value of an Ercoupe (not Sanders or Forney or Alon or Mooney) in good condition is at this point in time. Not only in dollars, but in the actual demand. Are these things being traded much? Not too many in TAP. The current Alon prices are indeed laughable, and M10 owners want as much as M20 owners, so I need real value here. Seems there were always many tire kickers and wanna be's floating around. Fact is, those kickers and wanna be's can sometimes afford the coupes with a bit of time and tweaking! So what I'm asking is what's the REAL price the majority of you and your neighbors would actually pay for a clean machine? No variables to muddy the waters, nothing fancy, just a good, solid, clean and dependable machine, the way you want it and in above average condition. Thanks much!
