Jack: I had by-pass in 1982, and a mild attack. I'm still flying. I have terminal liver disease, ( presently under control) I've never been a drinker either, and I'm still flying. You can get your medical back easier now ( I understand) than when I repeatedly went for mine. It took an act of congress and a good lawyer. Give yourself a chance to heal, and if necessary, get the cause corrected, then get your medical back. In the mean time, fly your coupe with someone in the right seat that has a current medical,----but FLY DARN IT, FLY!!! Doug
