Bill,
I been using AvBlend added to the oil every 50 Hrs during oil change on my C-90. I also have the spin on filter. I got tired of the "rope trick" to unstick the valves. In addition, I use TCP with every fill up.(100LL) I've got close to 350 Hrs on new "Superior Cylinders" without a valve sticking. Would it be that way without AvBlend and the TCP? I don't know, but, if like me, you suddenly had a three cylinder engine(once on rotation; cruise; and take off roll) it seems like cheap insurance to me. The extra cost is worth it to cut down on the "pucker factor" of trying to climb out on three cylinders during the Texas summer. Both of these products are legal in our planes. Try it, it may help, and it certainly can't hurt.
