Sorry, I should have thought about the differences in the tanks before I sent the original message. I have a '46 415-C, serial # 4173, production date 10/29/46. It is a riveted aluminum tank with the fuel valve outlet positioned to the left (when sitting in the plane) side of the bottom and the fuel valve behind the instrument panel. I also failed to mention that it needs to be inexpensive.
