Hi all,
Last weekend after a nice flight I noticed a gas smell in my coupe.  It
appears my cowl tank has succumbed to the dreaded seepage from its
seams.  It's not bad enough yet to actually drip, but I can see stains
starting to form around the rivets.  I would like to continue flying for
as long as possible so I am looking to purchase a beyond repair cowl
tank for a 415-C that I can rebuild while I keep flying.  It needs to
have an intact filler neck, but the rest can be badly corroded and
leaking.  It only needs to be intact enough to be disassembled and the
pieces used for patterns for new metal to be rebuilt around the filler.
