Please help! I enjoy open cockpit flying when the weather is warm but it is cool enough
now that I would like to be able to keep the windows up. I close them but they continue to slowly open in flight. Is there a trick to keeping them closed? I noticed several screw holes on both sides of my windshield frame near the instrument panel. Was there something attached here that I should have? My coupe is a 1946 D. I also noticed the fuel hoses from the firewall to the fuel pump and back to the header tank hang very close to the exhaust manifold on the right side. There is no shield or fire sleeve on the hoses. Has this been a problem for anyone in the past? Those unsecured rubber hoses that near the hot manifold make me a little nervous. Ed Exley N214 Fullerton, CA
