I've always been told that it's better to have no
charts on board, than to have charts that are outdated, in terms of being
"gigged" by our FAA brothers. Anyone know for a fact what
the regs. are? I've never worried about charts if all I'm doing is running
the pattern, or doing local flying. I certainly make sure I have what I
need and it's current if I'm going somewhere. But whats the reg. ? ( to
settle a difference of opinion)
