Hi John, Personally, I am not in favor of sloshing. When I bought my 'Coupe it had sloshed tanks and had used 100LL. No problem. Then another PO bought it and flew it for only 6 months using a 50/50 mix of 80 octane and av gas. The sloshing compound began to break down and appear in the fuel during pre-flight sumping of the tanks. Nasty looking stuff. During restoration we disassembled the tanks, removed the compound and re-sealed (early tanks) everything. Best to remove the tank and restore it rather than re-slosh, IMHO I:0) Jim ser. no.285 AZ -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Saturday, November 27, 1999 7:42 AM Subject: Tank Sloshing
