Mike, the weather never did clear over the Mountain Lake, we decided at the last minute to drive there. The fog on interstate 5 was at ground level when we crossed over 99 no better as we got to the foot hills it was pea soup and really tough driving.
We arrived at the cafe at about 11:00 had lunch spent a little more time until about 1:00 and headed for home. no planes landed while we was there, we had fog and then rain to make it back to the coast. was glad our plane was in it's hanger. The food was great, the people there was friendly and fun to be around. maybe when the fog decides to fly away we can do it again. Audean N6596Q Salinas, Ca.
