If you look at my last message you will see my e-mail address. If you have
anything personel to say send it there. I would have responded directly to
you had you included your address. As to your example of a boat tied to
a dock not causing nearly a ripple, flawed thinking my friend. If you were standing behind the boat you would disagree. Slipstream from the prop (we're back to
airplanes now Bob) has a great affect on tail surfaces. High power at slow
speeds (stalls) make rudder input imperative. Any surfaces within the prop
slipstream can have drag producing affects. Open canopy's, doors, and
maybe even nosegears tied up with a cable. Aviation Safety has some
interesting articles on prop slipsteam affects. Just thought you'd like to know.
