Hello All:

Has anyone gone through the 337 process of replacing their fuses with
circuit breakers?

Was approval easily accomplished? Where did you mount the breakers?

I think the easiest would be to get the combination switch-breakers and
mount them where the toggle switches are. ----IF they will fit that is. I
have my
fuses and switches mounted on the lower left side of the panel.

I recently lost radio, transponder, and running lights on a night flight.
This has generated my interest in upgrading and modernizing my
electrical system. (My handheld, which I carry for backup, paid for itself
just then.)

Before I decided on the 'Coupe, I was monitoring the Aeronca mailing
list. (I used to own a 7AC) There was some discussion of a shorter spark
plug being available to eliminate the cowl fit problem. Has anyone any
information on this? My cowl will need some work and I would really like
to eliminate the ugly bulges over the front upper spark plugs.

There must of been a shorter plug available at one time since the bulges
are add ons.

Thanks.
