Mark, they mark out a 60 X 5000 airstrip right on the desert  floor.  The
surface is clay, it's as smooth as pavement. It's 70 mi North of Reno, NV
in the
Black Rock Desert. You can camp right by your plane, bring your own food
and
water. They burn the wooded man Sat. night. I'll land there the Fri.
