Don, I'm thinking we should put on the planes (4) 15 gal wing tanks. That would give us a 10 hour range on the planes, 60 gal @ 6 gal hour. Appox. 1200-1400 Mi. This way we would not have any fuel in the cabin. We need room in the cabin for parts (tires, pumps, mags, carb, jugs) We will also need flotation gear. I'm thinking of using the header tank for oil. We would run a line from the header tank to where we put the oil in now. If we put a valve on the line, that way we could add a quart every 2-4 hours if need be. We can go Iceland over to Europe, longest time over water about 7- 8 hours. Than Europe east to old Russia. I have friends over there doing buildings for them. They could help us get fuel in Siberia. I was thinking we could fly the Siberian railroad across to Alaska, Canada then home. This way we would only have to talk to a few countrys for permission. gene
