Harry, Funny your two days late on your mail. Saturday on my way to Aircraft Spruce in Corona Ca from here at Ramona Ca less that an hour flight. Friend flying 5644f. Pointed out that the header tank was dropping. I had flown the last weekend with no problems. But the Thursday before Oceano flyin we had done the annual inspection of the pump. Upon landing and taxiing to a friends hangar. I did some monkeying around which included opening the pump again recleaning reassmy. and installing the safety wire for bolt. Filled the header and headed home. Yes, the problem was fixed. Header staying full. Yours, Warren H. 25 Oct 99
