Hello,
I just replaced the ones on my C-85... and after 3.5 hours of flying
they are toast. The ones that I removed for inspection (and hey.. I had
the
new ones just waiting.. and new is better right? WRONG) weren't bad but I
replaced them anyways. Turns out the only thing I can figure (torque was
per
book, and all washers were installed correctly) is that is was just OLD
parts. Now keep in mind these were ordered just 3 months ago, so I'll
assume
they were sitting on a shelf somewhere. I don't know how to really check
them
before hand, they seemed fine before installed. Lee at Skyport assured me
the
set I just ordered were fresh. Maybe they out to put a "born on date" on
them
