Most Taildragger groundloops come from getting too anxious on turn-off.
However, if one stays on his/her toes and senses it coming, opposite
rudder,
aileron, stick back, and a little prop blast should straighten it out. NO
BRAKES PLEASE. Regardless of type of aircraft or gear, getting the speed
down to a manageable level is essential. Personally, I never again look
at
the airspeed after I cross the threshold. EVERYTING is done by feel from
that point. An airspeed indicator is an instrument of relativity, and
shouldn't be taken literally. Don't let the tower rush you off the runway
.
Remember you're the PIC not them. BTW. Only had one groundloop, and that
because of stupidity (fast turn off and downwind) in my 108-2. <g>
