Clay..Welcome...Ercoupe or Aircoupe..owners have a thing with their planes..My alon is the "joy of my mid-life". Went from a Cherokee in trainning to my ticket and bought my Alon having not flown in one..but read all I could get my hands on..found 6516Q and bought her in May and finished my ticket..Only flying 16Q with an instructor the week before my checkride (in the Cherokee). A leap of faith..but from first seeing an Ercoupe 8 years before..a moment I still remember..(at Blairstown, nj..) I think they are the most alluring of aircraft...Great bunch of people here.
