Hi group... A log book entry dating back to 1956 states that the control quadrant was replaced with the "new style" and the aileron cable was replaced too. This was to comply with the AD about cable fraying I assume. As 3040H is going through its annual, my AP wont sign off without properly identifying which control system is in use. The log refers to a 337 (which is no longer with the maintenance file) for more info so we don't know exactly what was
done. Can any of you suggest an easy way of determining what is being used in my coupe? The cable feels smooth and the groove in the pully is quite deep, but that is all I can tell about the setup. Any help would be appreciated. May all your landings be silky smooth and right side up! Best regards, Rob Talbot-Jones, 3040H, Rantoul IL
