Imron paint, has been on N6596Q since it was done at a paint shope here at the airport back in 1992.. It still is holding and also looks like new.
The plane is hangered, It has never been washed with water.. Husband uses a special dry wash and polish for it.. It has taken the last 3 days to polish her for the Air Show here this week end... She goes on the display tomorrow, will be there until Sunday. we wipe her down daily while at the show, we get early morning fog here and do not like her to remain damp. The little AT6, was painted with spray cans of the school bus yellow... it really has stayed quite nice even with the kids all over it... It will draw a lot of attention in the next few days.... It always makes the paper along with the local TV, stations here and has been picked up by National TV. as the smallest plane there. Audean Woollard N6596Q
