Mary, I have to admit, that is the answer my husband gives most of the time, he does not work on it that much and does not fly it that much.  Larry (husband) builds experimantals.  That is where his love and attention is right now.  But in the flying circuit around here Most everyone knows that it is my little Lady Bug and I'm the pilot.  Lots of Young Eagles have flown in her and she is still the one they pick when we are flying kids.

Come to Arkansas and we can all fly together.

Take heart ladies. We are slowly catching up and hopefully someday we will be recognized by ALL the guys as fellow pilots and not just 'babes'.
But for now, when I fly other than solo, the men I take for passengers don't answer questions about my plane. They say "Ask her, it's her plane."
