Please remember all airplanes are compromises designed to a particular "MISSION", so you cannot make such a blanket statement with any chance of being universally being accepted for it. An Ercoupe is a great plane... for what it is. If you want to haul cargo, fly IFR or Acro, there are far better choices. Ditto for STOL. See what I mean? BOb Urban
