I`m brandnew in your net and Í´m
enjoying to fly a coupe 415C, N 99146 in Germany after a complete restauration
for 2 years now and it´s great fun!!!
I´d like to change it into a"415 D"
now to get a better "payload" and to get the chance to put in
a C-90 engine later on.( By the way: may I put a
C-90 engine into a 415C??)
All the hardware changes of the fuselage are done
and I have a friendly and helpfull airworthiness inspector over here. Does he
have to send just a "337-form" to the FAA or do I need a complete new airworthiness-certificate and if "yes"
what is the easiest and cheapest way to get this done?
The only DRA I know over here wants 1,500 $ for the
airworthiness-certificate what seems a little expensive to me.
Please, what is the correct and cheapest
paper-procedure for the C-D conversion???
