Jerry; I know that all quotes are supposed to be the same, but about 4 years ago, I had a quote to renew my Bonanza with Falcon Insurance agency. They
told me their best quote was from a company I do not remember, but it was only about $45 less than one from AIG $1060. I had read that Aircraft Marine had the best quotes, so just for grins, I gave them a call. $860 was the result for the same hull but not $1,000,000 smooth. I called Falcon back and had them couble check the quote for the exact same insurance from AIG. They came down to $985. This caused me to write to the ABS and Falcon agency to let them all know what had happened. I was told that apparently the agent for Aircraft Marine had listed me at a better risk. No one canceled my insurance, and I am still with the same company. My Coupe insurance was $384 for 12 months with full coverage and $20,000 hull when added to my Bonanza insurance with AIG through Aircraft Marine.
